Sanctuary’s Agam Darshi In New Canadian Comedy Series
CAPTIVATING actress Agam Darshi will be appearing in the upcoming CTV comedy series Dan For Mayor, starring Gemini-awarding winning actor Fred Ewanuick (Robson Arms), and brought to us by the comedic writers of the wildly popular seriesCorner Gas, which Ewanuick also appeared in. Dan For Mayorfollows the title character, a 30-something bartender who lives and works in the fictional city of Wessex, Ontario. Dan has had the same friends since grade school, his most prized possession is a vintage Ms. Pac-Man game, and his last serious relationship was with a girl who is now engaged to someone else. His life seems to be firmly on the path to more of the same…until a chance comment suddenly puts him in the running for mayor of Wessex. With an incredible cast, and appearances by three real-life majors, this creative new comedy is sure to entertain! Dan The Mayor is set to join the Monday night comedy block when it premieres on Canada’s CTV at 8:30 p.m. EST/PST on Monday, March 1st.
